Contract Job Postings — limited time postings for Spring semester

A number of contract faculty advised stewards that they were not getting teaching hours while full-time support staff were offered the courses contract faculty could teach. This issue has been raised AUCC on multiple occasions in the past.

The new VPA, Tom Phillips, advised the union on Friday May 3rd that the courses will be re-posted for 3 days this week.

If qualified contract faculty apply and should have been offered the work, the contracts will re-assigned. This process will also happen for the back half of the semester.
